A steel and granite cantilevered bench at the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial is inscribed with the name of a victim of the terrorist attack, Navy Reserve Lt. Cmdr Ronald J. Vauk, Sept. 3, 2026. Vauk was serving the second day of his annual reserve duty at the Pentagon when the terrorists' plane hit.
