Hold the Line
Soldiers assigned to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, known as "The Old Guard," compete in tug-of-war during a physical training competition as part of Legacy Week at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., Aug. 4, 2026. The event commemorates the activation of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment while promoting physical readiness, teamwork and esprit de corps.
