Purification Perspective
Army engineers set up a lightweight water purification system on Tinian, Northern Mariana Islands, during Exercise Valiant Shield 2022. The graywater waste recycling prototype demonstration of the technology used reverse osmosis to treat the water followed by chlorination, recycling water at a 75 to 80% recovery rate and reducing the water resupply requirement in the field.
