Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Air Force Lt. Gen. David R. Iverson for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commander, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Iverson is currently serving as deputy commander, U.S. Forces Korea; commander, Combined Air Component Command, United Nations Command; commander, Combined Air Component Command, Combined Forces Command; and commander, Seventh Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.
Air Force Maj. Gen. Larry R. Broadwell, Jr. for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commander, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. Broadwell is currently serving as deputy commander, Sixteenth Air Force (Air Forces Cyber), Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas
Air Force Maj. Gen. Paul R. Fast for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as chief of Air Force Reserve, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., and commander, Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Fast is currently serving as commander, Fourth Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, March Air Reserve Base, California.
Air Force Maj. Gen. Daniel T. Lasica for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as commander, U.S. Air Forces Central Command; commander, Ninth Air Expeditionary Task Force, Air Combat Command; and Combined Forces Air Component commander, U.S. Central Command, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Lasica is currently serving as director of operations, J-3, Headquarters U.S. European Command, Patch Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany.
Air Force Maj. Gen. David J. Sanford for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as director, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Army Maj. Gen. Curtis D. Taylor for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commander, U.S. European Command, Germany. Taylor is currently serving as commanding general, 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss, Fort Bliss, Texas.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Jason D. Voorheis for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as commander, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
