Valor Never Fades

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Patrick H. Brady, a Medal of Honor recipient, and his wife walk up the ramp while greeting soldiers upon their arrival at Fort Bragg, N.C., Sept. 2, 2026. Brady received the Medal of Honor in 1969 after evacuating 51 seriously wounded men in a single day while flying three helicopters under enemy fire during the Vietnam War.
