Army Maj. Gen. James B. Jarrard, commander, Special Operations Joint Task Force- Operation Inherent Resolve (SOJTF-OIR), briefs the media live from Baghdad at 11 a.m. EDT in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973), to provide an update on operations. SOJTF-OIR conducts special operations, to include training and accompanying local forces, to militarily defeat ISIS and prevent their return in Syria and Iraq.
