Creare LLC,* Hanover, New Hampshire, was awarded a $20,282,232 firm-fixed-price contract for the production and delivery of 3,000 full-rate production helmets, which includes basic helmets, communication boom helmets, communication cup helmets, helmets with communication for sound, accessories, and spare parts in support of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III effort based on Phase II SBIR Topic N04-255, titled “Advanced Helmet for Maintainer Head and Hearing Protection” for the Navy. Work will be performed in Salem, Oregon (39%); Carpentersville, Illinois (25%); Lebanon, New Hampshire (18%); Hanover, New Hampshire (16%); Hillsboro, Oregon (1%); and Ottawa, Ohio (1%), and is expected to be completed in May 2028. General Electric Co., Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded $20,085,584 for a firm-fixed-price delivery order (N00383-26-F-TF04) under a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00383-22-G-TF01) for the repair of 16 components supporting the F404 engine, for a total of 275 repairs. The delivery order does not include an option provision. All work will be performed in Lynn, Massachusetts. Work is expected to be completed by December 2027. The contract provides for work related to control software, payloads, and peripheral launch and recovery equipment. Work will be performed at Herndon, Virginia, and is expected to be complete by Feb. 16, 2028. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Japan. This award is the result of a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2026 research development test and evaluation funds; and fiscal 2026 FMS funds, in the amount of $25,000,000, will be obligated at the time of award. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Florida, has been awarded a $10,282,459 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00027) to previously awarded contract (FA8682-19-C-0008) for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile Increased Inventory Integrated Production Team tooling and test equipment. This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $409,832,456 from $399,549,997.
