Beautiful Day

District of Columbia Army National Guardsmen assigned to Joint Task Force District of Columbia pick up trash near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, Nov. 21, 2025, as the task force completes beautification efforts in support of the D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force mission. About 2,400 guardsmen are supporting the mission, helping law enforcement and community partners strengthen public safety, resilience and quality of life across the nation's capital.
