Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant spoke today to discuss Israel's operations against Hamas. The Secretary emphasized U.S. support for Israel and the importance of preventing regional escalation. He discussed the criticality of increasing and sustaining humanitarian aid and protecting civilians in Gaza.
