Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke with Croatian Minister of Defence Mario Banožić to discuss the bilateral defense relationship and relevant points related to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Secretary Austin thanked Minister Banožić for Croatia’s support to Ukraine. Minister Banožić thanked the Secretary for continued U.S. support in further developing Croatia’s defence capabilities, highlighting 30-years of close cooperation. Secretary Austin noted our continued commitment to these ongoing and future efforts.
