General Officer Assignments

June 18, 2021

The chief of staff of the Army announces the following general officer assignments:

Gen. Paul J. LaCamera to commander, United Nations Command/Combined Forces Command/U.S. Forces Korea, Republic of Korea. He most recently served as commanding general, U.S. Army Pacific, Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

Lt. Gen. Randy A. George to senior military assistant to the secretary of defense, Washington, D.C. He most recently served as commanding general, I Corps, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Brig. Gen. Robert B. Davis, chief of staff, U.S. Army Central, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, to director, China Strategic Focus Group, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.
